Byrd's Eye View

Yesterday was not the best of days.

Today was much better.

This brain tumor deal is like a roller coaster ride of emotions.

I've learned not to look too far ahead and to take each day as it comes.

Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
Matthew 6:34

This is the day that the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.
Psalm 118:24

Here's a brief gander of her day...

                                           or shall I say,

a Byrd's eye view...

  2. Enjoyed this sweet post! Looks as if the Lord is keeping you right in the palm of His mighty hand and providing so many serving hands... to take care of your PRECIOUS Lydia!! Read this today and thought of you.. "If you hang on with whatever it is you know in your heart to be true about HIM, then HE will come through. That's a promise!" May He continue to hold you up. Still praying, my sweet friend!!

  4. Ditto Julie! This is beautiful on so many levels.

I love when pictures tell a story and that is exactly what you are doing ... taking, gleaning, and making it beautiful. Glory to God is found in moments just like these.

    Grateful to walk with you.

  8. I am simply amazed at the grace you extend your blog! It has truly touched my heart, I have recently just rededicated my life to the Lord and it has been the best thing I could have ever done. Your entire family is inspiring as servants of Jesus Christ, I am holding back tears knowing that your love is so faithful! You daughter and your family will be in my prayers. I thank you for sharing this part of your life with us. My sister was diagnosed with Leukemia in 2005 and it was very difficult as a sister to watch, so to see a mother like you is amazing!
