Thinking about
when our little byrd girl
flew from our earth nest.
flew from our earth nest.
The look on her sweet face
after she passed from this realm to Home.
Her last facial expression...
a simple, precious smile.
Saw this on TV the other night.
Sent my mind and heart straight back
to the morning of October 26th, 2011
when my girl flew Home.

By the way, Jermaine Paul won The Voice. During his acceptance speech he proclaimed,
"Nobody but Jesus, man!".
I smiled with joy echoing his words exactly.
Stacy,
ReplyDeleteI check your blog daily for an update...knowing how hard this walk is for you and hoping to read that your grief is lifting, even just a little bit. It does take a heavenly perspective doesn't it? When we go through such a soul ripping loss? To know this isn't our home, that heaven is really our true home? To hold onto the promises of God...that we are not to grieve as those with no hope. We WILL see our loved ones again!!!! Oh, Stacy, I do not believe that the Lord takes from of without a reason and an annointing to follow. I pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit on your lives and healing to occur as your shadow passes by.
Praying for you,
Gina

We also had surprise peonies when we first moved from Texas to Virginia and believe it or not I had never laid eyes on them back home ... I love them so much! The two of you are gorgeous people inside & out and I will forever count myself blessed to be a part of your lives.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the beautiful celebration of a covenant ordained and held together by the Lord. Such a precious gift!!!
